(b) if so, the details thereof as well as the reasons therefor?

ANSWER:

(a) & (b): Yes Madam. Department of Expenditure inwards its consolidated compendium of instructions/guidelines dated 12.04.2017 directed all the Ministries/Departments to abolish all the posts which are lying vacant for to a greater extent than than 5 years as well as submit a report. At the same time, Department of Expenditure has also decided that straightaway vacant posts would autumn nether deemed abolished category after a menstruum of two/three years against before norm of ane yr dependent plain to put downward conditions.
